As part of their continued commitment to emerging talent, Pool are again proud to announce the $10,000 Pool Grant.

The Pool Grant, now in it's second year, will assist one emerging photographer to research, create and produce a photographic project of their choice with the final project to be shown as a part of PROJECTIONS 2012.

Open to all emerging photographers the $10,000 Pool Grant could give you the chance to complete your personal project, simply submit a proposal of no more than 300 words detailing how you envisage realizing the project along with some examples of your work.

To be considered for the $10,000 Pool Grant please follow the steps below

1) download and complete application saving as a pdf no bigger than 5MB 

2) register and pay your entry fee including 1 low res sample of your work 

3) email your entry with a copy of your receipt to The Pool Grant Team   

  The winner of the grant will be announced in September 2011 and will have until the end of August 2012 to complete their project with the final body of work being shown in 2012.

Conditions of Entry

 Entrants mustsubmit a proposalof no more than 300 words detailing how they envisage realizing the project

• Only one proposal can be submitted per photographer
• Entry is $15
• The grant is to be used by the recipient to photograph the project of their choice
• The deadline for receipt of proposals is Friday 5th  August 2011 at midnight AEST
• No late entries will be accepted
• The grant recipient's project must be completed by the end of August 2012
