The Pool Grant 2011 call for entries extended to Aug 5th

As part of their continued commitment to emerging talent, Pool are again proud to announce the $10,000 Pool Grant.

Now in it's second year and open to all emerging photographers the $10,000 Pool Grant will assist one emerging photographer to research, create and produce a photographic project of their choice.

To be considered for the Pool Grant simply submit a proposal submit a proposal of no more than 300 words detailing how you envisage realising your project.

The jury will consist of Sean Izzard and Simon Harsent of Pool who will meet in August 2011 to decide on the grant recipient.

The winner will be announced in September 2011 and will have until the end of August 2012 to complete their project with the final body of work being shown in 2012.

3. Upload your entry at  The Pool Grant Team and entry fee here 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 Entrants must submit a proposalof no more than 300 words detailing how they envisage realizing the project.

Only one proposal can be submitted per photographer.

Entry is $15.

The grant is to be used by the recipient to photograph the project of their choice.

The deadline for receipt of proposals is Monday 1st August 2011 at midnight AEST.

No late entries will be accepted.

The grant recipient's project must be completed by the end of August 2012.
