Biography

Born in Johannesburg, Andrew Harris is a photographer, writer and editor based in Melbourne, interested in people, culture and adventure, across the world.

Andrew works with available light, and time, capturing the scene as it presents itself. Wherever possible, he interviews portrait subjects prior to shooting, establishing an evident understanding between photographer and subject.

Andrew’s images have been published in newspapers, magazines and books across Australia and internationally, almost always alongside his words, which tell the stories behind them.
