Biography

Christian's photographs have a simple, honest style that manage to get to the heart of the subject and capture its 'soul' and 'feeling'. He specialises in shooting food and people in a distinctive ‘silky and romantic’ style. His work is alive and vibrant, with an eye for beauty and humanity.

His award-winning photography is sought by his clients to put them ahead of their competition. For over 20 years, Christian has been shooting for some of the world's largest brands working with direct and agency clients in the UK, the US, Asia and Australia, shooting everything from global campaigns to small pro-bono work, and personal projects.

His ability to relate to, and put at ease subjects from kids to movie stars, and his easygoing and quick working style have led to long standing relationships with a broad base of clients.

Christian is also known for his lush fine-art seascapes, which have featured on Hollywood movie sets and grace walls from Manhattan to Sydney. He is represented in New York by June Bateman Fine Art.
