Head On Portrait Prize Entries Now Open



Head On Photo Festival's Portrait Prize entries are now open. Calling all photographers; emerging and

established, to submit their most miraculous, marvellous and mind-boggling photographic portraits. 
Win your share of approximately $50,000 worth of prizes.

Finalists' work will be selected by multi award winning photographer Tamara Dean, Monash

Gallery Director Shaune Lakin, ABC broadcaster Robbie Buck and Head On curator

Moshe Rosenzveig. The 'Critic's Prize' will be selected by photography critic Robert McFarlane.
Head On Portrait Prize is the nation's major innovative showcase for Australian portrait photography,

reflecting a vibrant, diverse cross-section of new and traditional photographic practices.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Head On Photo Festival has opened bookings for David Alan Harvey's once-in-a-lifetime master-class. Be one of 15 talented Aussie photographers, which will get the rare opportunity to be mentored by one of the world's most engaging photographers.

Every year we get Bigger and Better!

The 2012 Head On Photo Festival is already set to be a landmark year. We are only at the planning stages but there are already more opportunities than ever for you to be part of hands on workshops, seminars and portfolio reviews. Whether you are a professional photographer, enthusiast or even just simply interested in the medium, the festival will offer unique opportunities to be transformed, to be engaged and to learn.

The Festival Guide will be launched in early April. Until then keep up to date with progress on the Head On Photo Festival website

  • ACMP members pre print badges for The digital show…

    All ACMP members whos had up to date subscriptions last friday week, should have received an email last week from the digital show with your link to express badging. Another email blast reminder is being sent today which will have their barcode reference and/or 10 digit badge number. Either of these can be used at the e-stations to print the badge. In any event, your names are in the database and therefore they just need to go to registration to have them print their badge! make sure to come and visit us at stand 78.
    We have great show specials for returning members, collection books, Sally Brownbill on Sunday at 2-3 to answer your questions on folios, A how to be an Assistant, Trampoline session on Friday, and a great fun comp with excellent prizes thanks to Manfrotto. we also have the ACMP Inspired exhibition in the Epson Gallery.
