Full House at The Power of Social Media talk in Sydney

23 April, 2010

A special night at the ACMP's Power of Social Media talk.

It was great to see so many photographers be part of a full house at the ACP for the ACMP's The Power of Social Media talk. We enjoyed a mindboggling informative talk from Ogilvy's Digital Strategist, Nathalie Swainston. She created the world of Social Media and the explained the opportunities within. Guests whose Social Media experience ranged from nonexistent to expert gained a greater understanding of difference between a hashtags, fans, friends, and tweets. Nat as well as illustrating case studies of businesses using the medium both well and badly

Keith Loutit showed his latest beautiful stop motion films on the big screen to an audience stunned both his talent and his use strategic use of Social Media to get global reach with views of his videos into the millions.

The collabration, generosity and socialising was great fun and inspiring to be a part of.

Thanks to Sacha Walters, and Sean and Penelope Beveridge for managing the night. Thanks to the ACP for the perfect venue.

Big thanks to the generosity of our speakers Keith Loutit and Nathalie Swainston for all their effort in making a great event.

Keith has an exhibition in Sydney
