Copyright Council Seminars ACMP member discount available

If you are a professional photographer working in the marketplace today, it is imperative that you have a basic understanding of the principles of copyright and licensing, and here is an opportunity to get expert, but at the same time, down to earth training by lawyers from the Australian Copyright Council. - They are running half day workshops in:

Hipstamatic Competition Results…

Thanks for everyone who entered ACMP's Hipstamatic Competition. The results are in for one of the more fun competitions of the year.
Congratulations to Andrew Evans, and Amateur photographer from Sydney whose entry "birds"(above) won the "places" category and was the overall winner having the highest scoring image. This is wrote this about his winning entry; "The shot was taken in one of the back streets of Newtown, near Sydney, close to the Dendy Theatre. It was an early morning in April...... -

CAL announce free seminars on Artists resale Royalty Scheme…

Copyright Agency Limited (CAL) has announced a new schedule of free seminars on the artists’ resale royalty scheme, to be held in all capital cities, Cairns and Alice Springs during July, August and September. Artists and ‘art market professionals’ (art dealers, galleries, auction houses, Indigenous art centres and others involved in the business of buying and selling art) who attend these seminars will be able to find out what the scheme means for them and what they need to do to participate.
