Lucas Allen is an Australian born, New York based photographer, specialising in interiors, still-life, people and travel. Lucas is represented in New York by Daniele Forsythe Photographers and in Australia by KHM.
Lucas left Melbourne in 2006 to tackle the 'Big Apple' and has rapidly become a highly sought after photographer in both the editorial and advertising fields. Lucas' assignments have sent him throughout the United States and further afield to the UK, Spain, Italy and Mexico. Lucas contributes to a number of stock image websites including Corbis www.corbisimages.com- and GMA Images - www.gmaimages.com
Lucas' clients include: Condé Nast Traveller UK, Vogue Living, Martha Stewart Living, Martha Stewart Weddings, The Nest, Real Simple, Country Living, House & Garden UK, Crate & Barrel, Target, Macy's, House Beautiful, Inside Out and Ritz-Carlton Magazine.
Lucas' style is often described as graphic and clean. His composition, technical skill, understanding of light and strong work ethic are key factors in repeat work with a diverse range of clients.
It's not too often that you get the chance to hear photographers who have successfully made international transitions speak, so if you are interested in not just listening to a great photographer, but also hearing about how Lucas made his mark on New York - this one is a talk not to be missed.
