FOOD, PHOTOGRAPHY AND STYLING GALA EVENT and enjoy tasty delights!  Learn from the food industry's best International photographers Lisa Saad, Penelope Beveridge and chef Miccal Cummins of Gastronomy. It takes more than a keen eye to make food look delicious on camera.

Join us for special Good Food Month experience with a delicious night learning mouth watering tips and tricks shooting, styling and preparing Food for photography.  Learn from industry's best Lisa Saad, Melbourne based pro food and advertising photographer and winner of many international multi awards  in Australia and New York ; Penelope Beveridge, SMH Shoot the Chef winner,  awarded 10 awards in New York IPA 2011 including Pro division Advertising Food category, Nikon My Life Food Judge, international photographer and Miccal Cummins owner of Gastronomy,  food stylist, studied cooking in Florence and London, artist and food industry professional with over 20 years experience . It was Miccal's 13 staff who posed for the Shoot the Chef winner image "Last Supper".  This is a special night for anyone interested in food! Foodies, bloggers and photographers book now!

Are you passionate about food and photography? Love devouring culinary magazines and cookbooks, entranced by the stunning images of sumptuous dishes? Or already taking photos of your creations but not quite getting the right effect? Food is captured for many reasons for advertising, commercial, blogs, events, functions, weddings, product and still life.
Whether foodie, food blogger, or photographer this workshop is for you!
On the night to ensure everyone can see the live demonstration. This is an interactive where you can Q and A the panel.

Penelope Beveridge's advertising and commercial images have been published in Vogue Living + Entertainment, Delicious, Gourmet Traveller, Yahoo 7, Cranberry USA, Pacific Pastry New York and Singapore, David Jones Recipes cards, Coke Coca, Nikon Magazines, Photoshop Australia, Hospitality Magazine, Weekends for Two Magazine, cookbooks, international magazines and TV Commercials. She also won the Professional Division of Sydney Morning Heralds shoot the Chef, and has 26 awards from New York International Photography Awards and Nikon My Life Food Judge and Head On Festival presenter and Judge.

Lisa Saad at an early age chose to create her own direction in the world of commercial photography establishing Lisa Saad Photography when she was just 19 years old. Her specialty lies in photographing people in the most unusual and fascinating ways to capture intimate and original portraits. Lisa takes pride in her attention to detail and in the ability to think outside the box.
Lisa has worked and apprenticed many industry leaders, on numerous local and international campaigns. From this broad experience, Lisa has developed the most innovative and creative style producing some of the most memorable images created in Australia today. Lisa targets 'high-end' magazine and advertising including fashion, food, portraiture, still life, editorial, automotive, illustrative and interior both locally and internationally with work appearing regularly in many publications.

Miccal Cummins spent 5 years at art schools in Australia and Europe while supporting himself as a kitchen hand and cook. In the late 80s while still exhibiting paintings and sculptures he set up a successful fashion label and retail business in Crown Street in Surry Hills in which he sold in 1990 to pursue his other love, food.
Since then, Miccal has worked with food luminaries such as David Thompson, Oliver Shaul, Darren Taylor and Lew Kathreptis. He studied cooking in Florence, carried plates in London and managed bars and restaurants in Sydney before establishing his first catering business in 1996. As director of Gastronomy since 1998, he consistently explores analyses and re-invigorates to ensure quality, creativity and sustainability, and has been consistently awarded food, service and environmental leadership.
